Persona 4 Golden: Every Party Member's Best Bike Skill

One of the really interesting additions to Persona 4 Golden that was not in the original is the bike skills mechanic. Bikes are unlocked while playing the game and allow you to unlock and visit some newer areas, as well as go on bike rides with friends.

Going on these rides unlocks and levels certain bike skills, which are special moves assigned to every person. These can be very powerful attacks, buffs, debuffs, and defensive skills. These can provide the extra edge in a tough fight, and the strongest of them can turn the tide in a losing battle. All that said, here are the strongest bike skills you can unlock for every character in the game

10 Makara Break (Yosuke)

Makarakarn on enemies can be annoying. The magic reflective barrier can lay waste to the best-laid plans, especially when you have figured out an enemy's weakness and are preparing to finish them off.

A well-timed Makara break can remove that worry, though. Makara break, at the cost of 18 SP, ignores the Makarakarn effect on all enemies and will let you unleash your magical fury on the now vulnerable enemies.

9 Tetra Break (Chie)

Tetrakarn is similar to Makarakarn. While Makarakarn reflects Magical Damage, Tetrakarn reflects Physical Damage. It can also be annoying as all hell when someone is near death and casts a Tetrakarn, making you wait for a turn. It can also be especially devastating if you have a high damage attack lined up and a carefully cast Tetrakarn can just reflect it right back at you. Tetra Break negates Tetrakarn on all enemies and allows you to go ham.

8 Bufudyne (Chie)

Bufudyne is the most powerful Ice damage spell and outputs a huge amount of damage. A good Chie build needs to have Bufudyne, and bike rides are the only way to get it for her.

Fitting five bike rides with her on your schedule, while managing everything else can be challenging, but it's worth it for this powerhouse of a spell.

7 Soul Drain (Yukiko)

SP management for your party is a very important part of the combat in Persona 4 Golden. And there might be times when you run out of SP restoring items or need a lot of SP in a pinch. Well, Soul Drain does just that. At the tiny, tiny cost of 3 SP, You can drain 30 SP from an enemy, and get a lot of SP to work with through that battle. Or you can use it near the end of a battle to prepare for the next one. It is a very handy skill to have and can save you in a lot of situations.

6 Mind Charge (Yukiko)

Mind Charge is one of the best skills in the game. It allows you to set up the perfect attack to exploit an enemy's weakness. Mind Charge gives a 2.5x damage boost to the next Fire, Ice, Electrical, Wind, or Almighty magic attack. It covers most of the common weaknesses of enemies and using it before exploiting an enemy's weak point can guarantee a quicker, easier victory.

5 Mediarama (Kanji)

While Kanji is positioned more as a physical damage character, Mediarama offers his build a little more versatility. Mediarama heals all party members for a moderate amount. It makes Kanji useful as a backup healer if your primary is taken down or runs out of SP. And it is always good to have an extra healer in your party.

4 Dekunda (Teddie)

Teddie's Skillset and build are very tightly built. Most of his later bike skills are not very useful but Dekunda is the first bike skill you unlock for him. Dekunda removes all negative status effects from your allies. There are a lot of bosses and tough enemies, especially in the later game, who depend a lot on applying status effects to deal damage. Dekunda is the easiest way to counter this, and it's a pretty inexpensive and useful skill.

3 Myriad Arrows (Naoto)

Naoto has a lot of really powerful abilities. As a late-game addition to the party, she comes equipped with some really useful skills to help you through the last part of the game. Her bike skills reflect this. Her bike skill list starts out with Bufudyne and Ziodyne, two of the strongest elemental damage spells, but her later skills are what really makes all the time spent with her worth it. Myriad Arrows does a large amount of physical damage to all enemies up to three times, with an HP Cost. It can pulverize certain rooms, and especially for bosses or elite enemies with minions around them, and it is one of the strongest physical skills in the game.

2 Angelic Grace (Naoto)

Angelic Grace is the fifth Naoto bike skill and one of the best defensive skills in the game. It doubles evasion for almost all magic attacks. Angelic Grace allows you to take initiative in hard battles. Whereas you would have to spend many turns defending against elemental attacks, Angelic Grace lets you evade most of them, and allows you to fire back effectively.

1 All-Out Attack Buff (Rise)

Rise is an interesting addition to the cast of Persona 4. Her Bike Skill, however, is one of the best in the game, and essential for every party. Each level of her bike skill gives you a buff to the All-Out Attack. Five levels of this make the all-out a devastating finisher for any encounter and make your party much stronger.
