In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Krig 6 is a powerful assault rifle that can be used in multiple situations. Due to its versatility, many players have a hard time deciding which attachments are best for maximizing the power of the rifle. With the right attachments, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Krig 6 can become even stronger than the XM4 or M16.
The main defining factor for the Krig 6 assault rifle is not its damage, but rather its accuracy. By reducing recoil, the Krig 6 can quickly become the more accurate assault rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This gives it deadly precision which can often outdo any damage expected from the other guns in the game.
The Krig 6 being featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War marks the gun's franchise debut. This weapon holds 30 rounds and is fully automatic allowing it to perform as a rather standard assault rifle. Fans quickly realized that although this gun offers average damage, the increase in accuracy and low recoil makes it a dangerous weapon to oppose.
- Optic - Diamondback Reflex
- Muzzle - Muzzle Brake
- Barrel - 19.7" Takedown
- Laser - Ember Sighting Point
- Rear Grip - Field Agent Grip
As with most loadouts, the optic is a cosmetic choice. Players should choose optics that make them comfortable as the goal is to hit the target from a great distance. The Muzzle Brake increases accuracy by adding 4% verticle recoil control to the Krig 6. Although this is a minor adjustment, it has very few downsides allowing it to be a quick pick for this particular Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War loadout.
The Takedown barrel increases the effective damage range of the weapon by 150% and will allow precise damage at ranges of 90 meters or more. By adding in the Ember Sighting Point, players can gain bonuses to spotting enemies from a distance making this assault rifle a dangerous long-range Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapon. Top this build off with the Filed Agent Frip and vertical and horizontal recoil control will both increase.
Putting this build together players will realize that it does reduce move speed and ADS speeds. Still, as a long-range Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War build players should be content staying in one place and picking off enemies from a safe place. Players may want to consider crafting the rest of their loadout for stealth and minimizing detection in hopes of keeping their position relatively unknown in multiplayer matches.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
