Destiny 2: Beyond Light has a quest chain that was just released after the latest raid was defeated. This Lament Sword exotic quest chain rewards players what is arguably the best sword that's ever been in Destiny, but there are a lot of steps. One of the first steps in the quest chain is to find a giant Exo head and have a chat with it.
There is a lot in the new Beyond Light expansion, with some arguing there is maybe too much to do. This quest chain is another long and involved one that will keep Guardians busy for a while. The winding road to get the Lament starts on Europa, where players are looking for dead Exos.
First, players need to complete the "Find Dead Exos" quest. Players may have noticed dead Exos around the new Beyond Light Europa map naturally, but now they can be interacted with. After players interact with three of the nine dead bodies scattered around, the quest chain will tell them to find the giant Exo head.
Once players have the "Locate the Giant Exo" quest in Destiny 2, they need to make their way to the Bray Exoscience building in Cadmus Ridge on Europa. Once inside, take a right in the first big room. Up the stairs will be an office with only one way to go. In the next room, head to the right where a new door has opened up.
Follow the corridors, and there will be a tram on the right side. Walk by it and look for the hole in the floor, within which there will be a network of tunnels. Follow the tunnels until they open into a massive room. Drop down from the walkway, then look for the broken glass flooring.
This flooring will lead to the lower platforms, and from there players only one way to go, which should lead Guardians right to the Giant Exo head. It's a long quest as part of an even longer chain, but the end result should be worth it. Some other ridiculously long Destiny 2 quest chain have had terrible rewards.
Now that players have an idea of where the Exo head is located, they can have a chat with it, and then continue onto the next steps. This will bring Guardians into the Glassway Strike, where they can work on the Strike portion of getting their Adored Sniper Rifle.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
